Confordan Polyethylene Membrane is a flexible sheet that serves as an exceptional acoustic insulation. For use on decks before laying cement and pouring mortar, it dampens impact noise in a variety of buildings, including houses, hospitals and hotels.
It is made from a cross-linked polyethylene membrane with an upper face of aluminised LDPE film. Working as a damper applied in a mass-spring-mass system, it also makes a reliable shield against humidity when installed under laminated floors.
