This slimline MDF (medium-density fibreboard) based acoustic overlay insulation board by JCW is a high-performance energy-efficient, economical shallow platform floor system suitable for use with PCT (Pre-Commercial Thinning) timber floor constructions. It consists of a 9mm T&G (tongue and groove) MDF board laminated to a 10mm acoustic resilient layer.
As a highly versatile option, this JCW Acoustic Deck 19 insulation board can be used across all new flooring systems as well as upgrades to existing separating floor details. What’s more, it has been tested and certified to offer the required acoustic insulation necessary for compliance with Part E of the building regulations, so you know it’s a high-quality product designed to last.
