Specific applications and build-ups result in even better performance, such as in a single-frame partition wall. Here, the Acoustic Quilt can reduce up to 50 decibels of airborne noise when fixed with 70mm acoustic metal studs, the relevant resilient bars, and two layers of staggered acoustic plasterboard on either side.

This product consists of mineral wool and an acoustic membrane. The two layers of 25mm mineral wool sandwich the 2mm acoustic barrier.
