JCW Impactalay 10 Acoustic Floor Underlay 10mm X 1200mm X 1200mm

This JCW Impactalay 10 is an affordable, energy-efficient 10mm thick acoustic underlay matting for timber and concrete floors which effectively eliminates airborne and impact noise. It consists of an acoustic foam resilient layer sandwiched between two weight-enhanced acoustic barrier mats for improved performance.

For best results, it is recommended that you lay the matting onto a smooth flat sub-floor. This Impactalay 10 acoustic underlay is highly versatile and suitable for use with different types of floors and all final floor finishes. It’s easy to cut, trim and shape, so you’ll have no trouble installing it. In case of undulating timber sub-floors, it might be necessary to overlay with a minimum of 6mm plywood. To achieve optimal performance, concrete sub-floors may require partial screed levelling.
