As an exceptional insulation solution for your external masonry cavity walls, this unfaced DriTherm® Cavity Slab 32 insulation is made from water-repellent glass mineral wool and offers unbeatable thermal performance, perfect for full-fill cavity walls.

With these non-combustible full-fill Knauf slabs, you won’t need cavity barriers as the risk of fire spreading through the cavity is kept to a minimum and they have received the highest possible Euroclass A1 rating for reaction to fire. They are made with Knauf Insulation’s eco-friendly ECOSE® Technology which utilises a unique bio-based binder. Additionally, they are sized to fit snugly between wall ties, eliminating the need for retaining discs.

Ideal for use in buildings up to 12m high in any exposure zone and use in multi-storey applications up to 25m in height, these DriTherm® Cavity Slabs are BBA (British Board of Agrément) certified for use in all exposure zones, including extremely severe areas. They will not transmit moisture from below the damp proof course level or by capillary action across the cavity, nor will they transmit water to the inner leaf.

What’s more, these DriTherm® Cavity Slabs are easier to install than rigid boards as the material can mould to the substrate’s minor imperfections and knit together, eliminating any pesky air gaps for optimal performance in any application. Effortless to handle and lightweight, they can be seamlessly cut to size. They also come in polythene packs for short-term protection.
