Novia VC4000 FR Class B Fire Rated Reflective Vapour Control Layer – 75m2 Roll

This Novia® VC4000 FR Reflective Vapour Control Layer is a high-performance, flame-resistant, reflective, airtight membrane. Designed to be used as a vapour control layer and air leakage barrier, this AVCL is suitable for use in any insulated wall or roof application where high moisture vapour resistance is essential.

This Novia® VC4000 FR Reflective Vapour Control Layer will also deliver a minimal moisture vapour permeability solution due to the use of high-performance materials. It is tested to EN 13501-1 Fire performance class B-s1,d0 and valid for substrates with fire class A2-s1,d0 or A1, such as 12mm plasterboard, with no cavity between product and substrate.

When installing insulated walls or roofs, it is important to place the Air and Vapour Control Layers (AVCLs) on the warm side, inside of the building envelope. To ensure an airtight seal, use this Novia® VC4000 FR Reflective along with appropriate Novia® tapes. Proper installation of Novia® membranes using these tapes is crucial for achieving the desired building design outcomes.

All AVCL membrane joints should have a minimum 150mm overlap and be situated on a stud, rafter, timber or other frameworks where possible.
