REDSHIELD-R Rebated Cavity Barrier Single Flange 2.4m – Pack Of 3

This REDSHIELD®-R is an innovative cavity barrier that effectively meets the requirements for both fire integrity and insulation outlined in Building Regulations Part B. It features a compressed mineral fibre wool insulating core and uPVC outer casing, eliminating the need for additional lining materials.

Not only does this REDSHIELD®-R serve as a thermal break and DPC, but it is also highly versatile, making it adaptable to suit a range of cavity sizes. This ensures it can maintain a continuous seal for a variety of cavity widths, especially those that might differ in size. Its insulating core construction delivers 30 minutes of integrity and 15 minutes of insulation, as per Building Regulation Approved Part B. Additionally, it resolves cold bridging issues by acting as a DPC and thermal cavity closer.
